HIM-DR³ will be organizing the “Himalayan Resilience 2025 – International DRR & Climate Resilience Workshop” in collaboration with the University of Padova (Italy), NGI (Norway), NIDM (India), and the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
● Bring together national and international experts to analyze major disasters in Himachal Pradesh from 2023 until the current monsoon season.
● Examine the causative factors behind these disasters, supported by scientific and field-based evidence.
● Present detailed case studies and mitigation strategies relevant to Himalayan terrain.
● Capture local experiences, community perspectives, and administrative feedback.
● Facilitate brainstorming sessions on gaps, challenges, and the way forward.
● Submit a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations to the State Government of Himachal Pradesh.
